URBANA, IL- Patricia Donze, 85, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 11:45 P.M., Friday, June 28, 2013 at the C-U Regional Rehab Center, Savoy, IL. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 708 W. Main St., Urbana, IL. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. A visitation will be held from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Friday evening at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, with a prayer service at 5:15 P.M.

Mrs. Donze was born November 25, 1927, a daughter of Maurice and Vera Lucille (King) Doty. She married Norman G. Donze on May 7, 1949 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Urbana. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Donze De Ley, Michelle (Stephen) Becher, a son, Rick (Donna Rae) Donze; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a sister, Rosemary Mosley.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Craig.

Mrs. Donze lived most of her early life in Atwood, IL and graduated from Wilmington High School. She worked as a secretary at the White Line Laundry, various jobs for the Urbana School District 116 and worked as an office/mail clerk at the University of Illinois Medical School where she retired in 1991.

Mrs. Donze was very active and dedicated to her children's schools, activities, sports and her church, St. Patrick's. She and her family enjoyed camping and gained many life-long friends over the years.

She was a diehard St. Louis Cardinal and Illini fan.
