Patricia Marceline Davis, 81 of Fithian died April 19, 2012 at St. Anthony's Hospital, Alton. Private graveside services will be at the Danville National Cemetery, Danville. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davis was born January 17, 1931 in Urbana, the daughter of James Merle and Mildred (Wells) Towner. She married Richard J. Davis on November 6, 1949 in Urbana and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2001. She is survived by her daughters; Sherrie Anette Davis of Zepherhills, FL, Connie Lynn Martin of East Alton, sons; Richard Daniel Davis of St. Joseph and Shawn Jerome Davis of Fithian, sisters; Ruth Lazenby of Jerseyville, Loretta Lawyer of Champaign, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, infant sister, Helen and brother, Leo Merle Towner.

Mrs. Davis attended Unit 4 Schools in Urbana which included Webber School, Thornburn Junior High School and Urbana High School. She also attended Parkland College, Cosmetology College of Champaign and Aviation School at Illini Airport. She was a C.N.A. and Supervisor of Medical Records at McKinley Health Center at the University of Illinois. She was a member of Ogden United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
