Patricia Ann Crawford, 94, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 612 East Park Street, Champaign. Rev. Fr. Joseph Hogan will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Mausoleum. A Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana.

Patricia was born on September 17, 1920 in Champaign to parents John and Mae (Hogan) Sullivan. They preceded her in death. She married Wendell Crawford in 1948, he passed away in 1981. Also preceding her in death was her son Michael, two sisters and one brother.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Tami (Bill) Kilgore of Urbana, her grandson Corey (Cheryl) Kilgore, her granddaughter Kristen (Michael) McDade and four great grandchildren.

She graduated from Champaign High School and St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield. From November of 1943 to June of 1946 Patricia worked as an Army Nurse and was assigned as the supervisor of five surgical wards.

Patricia worked as a Registered Nurse at Carle Foundation Hospital for thirty-five years, she also worked as a nurse at Carle Clinic and the Assembly Hall. She was the first president of Carle Nurses Association, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of St. Mary's and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
