Patricia Anne Burmeister 80 of Urbana died at 9:19 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Urbana. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Burmeister was born on December 5, 1933 in Urbana, the daughter of Larry and Jessie Murdock Taylor. She married Richard Burmeister on July 28, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, he survives.

Also surviving are one son; Charles Lawrence (Tina Klebek) Burmeister of White Heath and one daughter-in-law; Frances Burmeister of Fairfield, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by one son; Richard Allen Burmeister.

Mrs. Burmeister worked in the Business Office of Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

She was a member of the Living Word Fellowship of Mahomet, the Champaign-Urbana Women's Club, and Evening Etude Club.

Mrs. Burmeister was a Thespian in High School, she loved her children very much and her pets.
