Pamela Ardel Kenyon-Mays, 59, of Mahomet passed away at 1:11 P.M. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family and friends

A private service will be held at a later date.

Pam was born on May 26, 1956 in Stanton, TX, to her mother, Wanda Faye Fortenberry, she resides in Riverton, WY. On May 26, 1998 Pam married Michael Virgil Mays in Champaign. He survives. Also surviving is her son Jeffrey Warren Kenyon of Flatville, her daughter, Miranda Faye Kenyon-Smith of Mahomet, grandchildren, Wyatt Jeffrey Kenyon and Savana Faye Kenyon-Huddleston, her brother Mark Durham of Midland, TX, sisters, Patricia Conner of Worland, WY and Stacey Martinez of Riverton, WY.

Pam graduated from Lee High School in Midland, TX. She worked as a Cafeteria Supervisor for the Mahomet School District and was a member of New Horizon Church.

She loved spending time with her animals, especially her girls, Sophie and Lucy. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. She had a love for the kids at Lincoln Trail School in Mahomet, where she worked for many years. One of her favorite activities was to celebrate with her friends and family over a good campfire, Shakamak State Park was her destination of choice.

Pam was a very loving wife, mother and devoted Mammaw. She also loved studying the scripture of God. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
