Pamela Sue Hansen, 59, of Urbana passed away at 8:19 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at noon on Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Charlotte Blissit officiating. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Mrs. Hansen was born November 29, 1953 in Champaign to parents William G and Wanda (Clifton) Dean and they survive. She married Michael Hansen November 26, 1993 in Urbana; he survives. Also surviving are one daughter; Judith O'Donnell (Michael), of Urbana, stepson; Rodney Hansen of Urbana, brother; Wm. Eric Dean and sister in law Lisa, niece Chelsea and Great niece Kennedi Dean all of Champaign. Grandchildren; Kathryn Duckworth, Nicholas O'Donnell, Jace O'Donnell and step grandchildren Sara Hansen, Dustin Hansen of Urbana.

Mrs. Hansen worked for more than 22 years as a Mail Carrier for the University of Illinois. Pam enjoyed life's simplicities, and loved her family very much. Her family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care from the Carle Hospice program.

She was an avid Cubs, Bears and Illini Basketball fan. She enjoyed the motorcycle trips that she and Michael had taken together.
