Orval R. Morris, 87 of Urbana died at 4:25 P.M., Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at Carle Foundation Hospital, U.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, Jan. 8, 2006 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, U, the Rev. Dr. Joe Sheets will officiate. Entombment will be in Mt. Hope Mausoleum, C. with military rites by VFW post# 5520. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Mon. at the funeral home.

Mr. Morris was born on Aug. 17, 1919 in Sesser, the son of Robert Earl and Velma Marie Mygatt Morris, he married Peggy Lovett in 1945 in Paxton an divorced in 1974.

Also surviving are two daughters; Annette Felkner of St. Joseph, and Anita Kelly of Urbana, three sons; Stephen Morris of Rantoul, David Daniel Morris of Loda and Marcus Morris of Urbana, fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Thomas.

Mr. Morris was an expeditor at C.S. Johnson.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict. During WW II he served in ground combat at Normandy, Ardennes and Rhineland Central Europe. During the Korean Conflict he received the Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star.

Mr. Morris was a member of the VFW Post # 630 and the American Legion Post #24.
