Norma Jean Taylor, 71 of Urbana died at 8:25 a.m. Sunday, July 1, 2007 at the Champaign Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. The Rev. Terry Strom will officiate. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Taylor was born on July 29, 1935 in Sadorus, IL, the daughter of Jacob G.F. and Irene C. Meyer Morenz. She married Bruce Taylor on August 23, 1957 in Urbana; he died on April 10, 1984.

Survivors include a son; Richard A. (Heather) Taylor of Tuscola, a daughter; Kathy J. Beck of Prescott, AZ, three sisters; Jane L. Haines and Evelyn L. Klein of Urbana, Marjorie L. Morgan of Naperville, IL, two brothers; Terry L. Morenz and Russell D. Morenz both of Urbana and three grandchildren; Sabrina, David and Sarah.

Mrs. Taylor graduated from Unity High School.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Urbana.
