Norma Jean Brown 89 of Mahomet died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Amber Glen in Urbana.

There will be no services, Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Norma was born on January 20, 1928 in Springfield, the daughter of Vaughn and Catherine Bachhelm Lake. She married Robert G. Brown on August 5, 1945 in Urbana; he died on February 9, 2012.

Survivors include three daughters; Sandy (Steve) Frantz of Decatur, Rebecca Buirley of Urbana, Pamm (Mark) Plotner of Mahomet, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Norma loved sewing and crocheting.
