Nancy Margaret Sarabi, 86, of Savoy, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. She was born on August 20, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois to Rudolph and Louise (Meyer) Ringgenberg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Dietemann. Nancy married the love of her life, Teoman "Tony" Sarabi, in 1961. They were married for a wonderful 45 years. He passed away on August 27, 2006. Nancy is survived by her four sons: Mete (Diana) Sarabi, of Champaign, Erol Sarabi of Los Angeles, Alpay (Sonia) Sarabi of Chicago, and Orhan (Kenya) Sarabi of Weddington, North Carolina. Her grandchildren are: Roman, Natalie (Jose),Isabel, Nicholas, Austin, Maxwell, Ethan. Her great grandchildren are: Alina and Milena. Her Sister in Law is Suna Ozturk of Ankara Turkey.  Nancy graduated from Bowen High School in Chicago and attended the University of Illinois. She worked for the University of Illinois for many years at the Center for Advanced Studies. In retirement she immensely enjoyed spending time with her family and closest friends.
