URBANA, IL- Helen Myrle Lovett, 92, of Urbana, passed away at 3:30 P.M., Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Thursday. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Mrs. Lovett was born March 6, 1918 in Mahomet, IL, a daughter of James B. and Cora Mae Jackson Hyatt. She married Arthur L. Lovett on July 2, 1935 at Urbana. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1966. Survivors include three sons, Corky Lovett(Shirley) of Urbana, Larry Lovett(Jan) of Urbana, and Phillip Lovett(Phyllis) of Savoy, IL. 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a brother, James Hyatt of Springfield, IL, also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, two brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Lovett attended Mahomet schools and retired from the Champaign County Nursing Home.
