Muzhi Liu, 26, of Urbana passed away at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana. A funeral service will be held the following day, July 6, at 11 a.m., at Stone Creek Church, 2502 South Race St., Urbana, IL 61801. Pastor Gary Grogan will officiate. Burial will be held in Changsha, China. Mr. Muzhi (Luke) Liu was born May 11, 1987, in Changsha to parents Yan Zhang and Yiming Liu. They survive. Also surviving are his siblings, numerous cousins, and his longtime sweetheart Fan Huang. Muzhi (Luke) was a crisis clinician at Community Element in Champaign, IL. He was a FIFA fan, enjoyed playing soccer, and had a love for traveling. Memorial contributions may be made to Muzhi (Luke) Liu to help cover funeral costs.
