Miriam Olver 95 of Urbana died at 8:41 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Center, Urbana.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Private graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.

Miriam was born on July 10, 1921 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Arthur and Edith Summy Jones. She married Elwood F. Olver on May 6, 1943 in Clinton, South Carolina; he died on February 23, 2010.

Survivors include her children; Deanne "Dee" Braden of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, Tom Olver of Marquette, Michigan and Larry Olver of Fayetteville, North Carolina, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; Elwood Olver Jr. and two brothers; Edwin Jones and Robert Jones.

Miriam was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Champaign and the Agriculture Engineer Wives.

She loved her family very much.
