Urbana- Mildred Farrand Baldwin Williams, age 91, of Urbana, Ill., died 12:40 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2006, at home in Urbana, Ill. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Community United Church of Christ, 805 S. 6th St., Champaign, with a reception from noon until service time at the church. Pastor Mike Mulberry will officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana, Ill. Arrangements are being handled by Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 South Philo Road, Urbana, Ill.. She was born August 5, 1915 in Monkton, Vermont, the daughter of Guy and Eleanor Farrand Baldwin.

She married Sheldon W. Williams on Aug. 15, 1936 in Shelburne, Vermont, he survives. Also survived by, Two Daughters, Sarah M. Flack of Townsend, Tenn., Eleanor W. Blackmon of Urbana, Ill. Five Sons, Royce S. Williams of Madison, Wis., John H. Williams of Palo Alto, Calif., David H. Williams of El Paso, Texas, Robert G. Williams of Denver, Colo. And Homer F. Williams of New York, N.Y. Eight grandchildren and Seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter; Mary Grace Williams, sister and brother. Mrs. Williams graduated from Bristol, Vermont High School and received a BA at University of Vermont. She was a homemaker and member of Community United Church of Christ, Champaign.
