Mildred S. Harper, 92, of Urbana died 3:50 p.m. Sunday, January 18 at Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana. Arrangements are being handled by Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Graveside services will be at East Lawn Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 23 with Rev. Harry Aughinbaugh officiating.

Mrs. Harper was born September 20, 1916 in Urbana, the daughter of Daniel and Rhoda Innis McFall. She married Kenneth E. Harper on February 22, 1936 in Urbana and he preceded her in death on August 12, 1997.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Phillips and son-in-law Harrison of Savoy and three grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is also preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Russell and Donald McFall and a sister, Catherine Wingler.

Mrs. Harper graduated from Urbana High School was employed by Kresge's Deptartment Store, Champaign from 1949 to 1972 as an office manager. She attended Grace United Methodist Church, Urbana and was a member of Provena Covenant Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
