Michele G. Hayden, 82, of Urbana passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.She was born on March 26, 1941 in Iraq the daughter of John & Rachel David. She married William Hayden Sr. on August 30, 1970 in Champaign, Illinois.Michele is survived by her husband; son- William (Rachel) Hayden Jr. of Urbana; daughter- Melonie (Brian)Richardson of Urbana; grandchildren; Sophia, Madelyn & Ella  Darnall; sister- Gladys Toma. Michele studied nursing while living in London, England. She attended Parkland College and received an associate degree in nursing.  She was also a licensed cosmetologist and home maker. She was an active member in Champaign Seventh Day Adventist Church. Michele enjoyed cooking and opening her house to students, friends & family every Sabbath. Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, IL 61802.
