Michael David Lowenstein, 59 of Oakwood passed away at home on Tuesday October 4, 2022.  He was born in Danville on November 11, 1962, the son of Louis (Lou) and Nancy Kay (Grubb) Lowenstein.  He is survived by 2 sons, Shawn Lowenstein of Oakwood and Garrett Lowenstein (Tina) of Champaign, father, Lou along with several other family members.

Michael worked in assembly at Eagle Wings Manufacturing and is a veteran of the U S Army.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 18 at Danville National Cemetery, 1900 E. Main St., Danville.  Pastor Hank Sanford will officiate.  Military rites will be provided by the Danville VFW Post.
