URBANA, IL- Michael Ray Hershberger, 43, of Urbana, IL, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 21, 2011, in his home.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Grace Community Church, 2901 Watterson Ct., Champaign. Pastor Jerris Duncan will officiate. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Michael was born August 22, 1967 in Monticello, a son of Ray and Louise Watts-Hershberger. He was married to Jennifer Baylis on June 19, 2010. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother, Louise Hershberger of Monticello, a sister, Lisa Womack of Monticello, a daughter, Erica Crain of Urbana. Michael and his wife were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first child.

He was preceded in death by his father. He was a member of Grace Community Church, Champaign, and Michael loved the Lord, his family, fishing and he found joy in helping others.

Memorials may be made to his wife. There will be a benefit to be held Saturday, March 5th, from 3-5PM at 718 S. Randolph, Champaign.
