Melody C. Rein 61 of Homer died at 8:00 a.m. Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Private burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sidney.

Mrs. Rein was born on December 27, 1949 in Champaign, the daughter of Wayne and Dorothy Endsley Cope. She married Dennis Rein on November 17, 1976 in Urbana, he survives.

Also surviving are two sons; Torey (Chastity) Rein of St. Joseph, Jim (Terri) Rein of Ogden, one brother; Boyd (Karen) Cope of Brunswick, Georgia, one sister Debbie (Greg) Vaughn of Thomasboro and two grandsons; Austin and Alec Rein.

She was preceded in death by one son: David.

Mrs. Rein attended The Vineyard Church, Urbana.

She loved flowers and cooking.
