May I. Grenko, 74 of Urbana died at 5:10 a.m. Sat. Feb. 24, 2007 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Mon. Feb. 26, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana, the Rev. Ed Potts will officiate burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Philo. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Mon. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Grenko was born on Jan. 3, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Lester and Rosa Truman Rusher, she married Carl Lee Grenko on April 1954 in Kentucky, and he died on Jan. 12, 1990.

Survivors include a daughter; Carla Helbling and a son; Jeffrey Grenko both of Urbana, a brother; Ted Rusher of Indiana and a sister; Mary Lou Aikman of Urbana, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death a son; Tony Grenko, four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Grenko was in food service for Burnham Hospital and later a switchboard operator for Provena Covenant Medical Center.

She was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship of Urbana and she enjoyed cooking.
