Matthew H. Hendon 33 of LeRoy died at 11:36 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at home.

Memorial services will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 at the First United Presbyterian Church, LeRoy. A Celebration of Life will follow at Mustang Sally's in LeRoy. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hendon was born on September 7, 1978 in Urbana, the son of Marcus and Debbie Thrash Hendon. He married Kristin Raycraft on April 4, 2003 in Bloomington, She survives.

Also surviving are his mother; Debbie (Sherry Moore) Hendon of Champaign, step mother; Wendy Hendon of Urbana, two daughters; Brooklyn Fitzwater of Champaign and Mackenzie Raycraft of LeRoy and one son; Alex Hendon of LeRoy, two brothers; Sam Hendon and Marcus Hendon both of Urbana, one sister; Jennifer Lee of Champaign, his maternal grandmother; Wilma Thrash of Mahomet.

He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather.

Mr. Hendon was a glass installer at Safelite in Champaign.

He was a volunteer fire fighter for the LeRoy Fire Department.

Mr. Hendon enjoyed fishing, camping, cars and spending time with his family.
