Mary Ann Parks 87, of Paxton formerly of Urbana, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Paxton.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview. There will be no public visitation.

Mrs. Parks was born on May 18, 1920 in Urbana, the daughter of Leo Francis and Marie Sullivan Klingelhoffer. She married Kenneth Charles (Jack) Parks on July 5, 1941 in Urbana; he died on November 29, 2001.

Survivors include a son; Charles Lee Parks of Bozeman, Montana, a daughter; Pamela Parks of Bayles Lake, Loda, a brother; Leo Klingelhoffer of Champaign, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Mrs. Parks graduated from Urbana High School class of 1938, she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana, Champaign County Nursing Home Auxillary and the Covenant Medical Center Auxillary. She enjoyed singing, dancing and traveling.
