Mary Jeanne Nash, born September 15, 1949, passed away at Carle Hospital, Urbana, on Thursday August 19, 2010. Mary, born in Mattoon, was a 1967 graduate of Mattoon High School and lived in Mattoon her entire life. She was an office worker at Mattoon Country Club, Bob Peters Ford and recently at Pilson Auto. Mary's parents were Charles and Pauline Waltrip Nash. She is survived by her mother and her two sisters, Karen Culbertson of Morton, IL, and Kay Bell of Champaign, IL. Mary leaves nieces and nephews: Sue Culbertson Baez (Dennis) and their two sons John and Matthew of Palatine, IL; Steve Culbertson (Ramona) and their children Jake Culbertson of Morton, IL, Brett and Brandon Grant of Morton, IL, Megan Lebeder (Bryan) of Arcola, IL; Jennifer Bell Lester (Lee) and their son Nathan of Macon, IL; Carrie Bell of Champaign, IL. Mary's hobbies included collecting antiques, photography, needlework and flower gardening. Following Mary's wishes of cremation, there will be no visitation or services. An open house for family and friends will be held Sunday evening, 3-8 p.m., at the family home at 1408. S. 15th Street, Mattoon. Memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
