Mary Ellen Matteson, 93, of Savoy, died 2:15 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Carle Arbours.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Rev. Chris Von Holten will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior.

Mary E. Matteson was born November 11, 1913 in Fairfield, IL a daughter of Grover and Frona Redfern Rosenberger. She married Thorne Matteson January 20, 1930 in Tuscola, IL. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2000.

She is survived by four children Beverly Grob of Urbana, Deak Matteson of Sebring, FL, Carol Langer of Urbana, John Matteson of Urbana, twenty five grandchildren, forty seven great grandchildren, and twenty eight great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
