Mary "Druce" Keeler 82, of Urbana passed away quietly at 10:09 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana; Rev. Fr. Joseph Hogan will officiate. A memorial reception will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. She was born May 31, 1934 in Penfield, the daughter of James L. and Mary Goldon Buck. She married Donald Keeler who passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017.
Surviving are two sons, Craig (Robin) Keeler of Tolono, Mitch (Rhonda) Keeler of Philo, two step-daughters; Mary (Thurman) Carwell and Janice (John) Rhodes, three grandchildren, Bobbie Jo (Shashi) Madugula of New Jersey, Ashley (David) Spradling of Murray, Kentucky, Ryan Keeler of Philo and one great grandson, Oliver Madugula of New Jersey and four sisters; Jean Finley, Kate Johnson, Gloria Lewis and Virginia Whalen, and two brothers; Bruce Buck and Pat Buck.
She was preceded in death by one son; Jeffrey Keeler, two brothers; Paul Buck and Charles Buck, two sisters; Emily Hughes and Markie Miller.
She worked at the Apple Dumpling for over 26 years and Wheat's Steak.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Champaign County Nursing Home.
