Martha Joan Seymour, 79, of Urbana passed away at 5:33 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2011 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Pastor Tony Crouch will officiate.

Mrs. Seymour was born in Clinton, Illinois on January 18, 1932 to parents Jonathan and Rosa Lee (Castille) Tucker. She married her first husband, Robert Frances Clifton. He preceded her in death on August 21, 1971. She later married Billy Seymour on December 15, 1979 in Funks Grove, Illinois; he survives.

Also surviving are daughter; Bobbie Clifton (Charles Gschwind), of Rantoul, son; Alan Clifton (Laurie), of Houston, Texas, sister; Donna Vinson, of Georgia, and granddaughters; Lydia, Brittney, and Kallie Clifton.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and six sisters.

Mrs. Seymour inspected negatives for Eastman Kodak in Chicago for more than 10 years. She also enjoyed volunteering for the Carle Foundation Hospital Auxiliary. Martha was extremely selfless, loving, and giving.
