URBANA - Marlin Paul Fourman, Sr., 87, a sixty-six year resident of Urbana, passed on Friday, February 17, at Carle Foundation Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1924, in Lebanon, PA to Paul R. and Elizabeth E. (Boyer) Fourman. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-seven years, S. Jeanette (Foltz), who he married on February 2, 1945, in Annville, PA. Other survivors include his four children, Marlin P. Fourman, Jr. (Penny) of Mahomet, IL, Ronald D. Fourman (Beverly) of Palestine, TX, J. Elaine Zalewski of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Randy K. Fourman (Bobbie) of St. Louis, MO. Marlin and Jeanette share the love of 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Marlin's two sisters, Bernice Fasnacht of Lebanon, Nancy Miller (Sal) of Annville and a brother Samuel Fourman (Janet) of Lebanon reside in PA. Marlin was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Cierra, his sister, Pauline Stoner and brothers-in-law, Harold Stoner and Harold Fasnacht, and niece's husband, Lloyd Fortna. He graduated from Lebanon High School, PA, in 1942, and served in the Army Air Force in 1943, during World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1946 and began employment at Swift & Co. Soybean Mill (Staley) Champaign, for 38-1/2 years, where he retired as a supervisor. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed but remains lovingly in the hearts of all. His greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends. Services were arranged by Renner-Wikoff Chapel of Urbana. Marlin, Jr. officiated at the private and extended family graveside service on Thursday at the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
