Marjorie Elouise Quayle, 84, of Urbana, passed away at 10:15 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Canterbury Ridge, Urbana. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Rev. Mary Brady will officiate.

Mrs. Quayle was born on November 16, 1926 in Claremont, Illinois to parents Floyd and Esther (Dowty) Smith. She married Russell Quayle on March 24, 1946 in Champaign, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2003. Survivors include daughter; Linda Hawn (Dwain), of Champaign, son; Gary Quayle (Lindy Dugan), of Ashland, Oregon, granddaughter; Tina Taylor (Scott), of Tolono, grandson; Brian Hawn (Christina), of St. Joseph, and great-grandchildren; Brandon Taylor, Sierra Taylor, Spencer Taylor, and Logan Hawn. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents.

She enjoyed square dancing, sports, playing cards and crocheting.
