Marion L. Shepheard, 74, of Urbana died at 10:57 A.M. Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Curtis Road Church of God, Champaign, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shepheard was born on August 9, 1932 in Mansfield, Illinois, the daughter of Grover Harry and Violet ClaraBell Dyson Warren Sr. She married Ross Shepheard on December 31, 1949 in Champaign, Illinois, he survives.

Also surviving are two sons; Steven Ross Shepheard and Robert Scott Shepheard of Urbana, Illinois and two daughters; Shirley Jean Davis and Sheryl Ann Reed both of Fort Myers, Florida, two brothers; Grover H. Warren Jr of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and William D. Warren Sr. of Champaign, Illinois, two sisters; Doreen Spencer and Marti Ashby both of Champaign, Illinois, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her parents and one sister.

Mrs. Shepheard was a member of The Salvation Army, Champaign, Illinois, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Urbana, Illinois. She loved her grandchildren and was a Cubs and Illini fan.
