Marilyn N. Carr Weber, 76, of Ogden died 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, at home.

Mrs. Weber was born September 22, 1932 at Urbana, the daughter of Cecil and Gladys Simmons Jackson. She married James A. Carr, November 24, 1951 and he preceded her in death. She later married Donald E. Weber and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Timothy C. Carr (Rita) of Ogden, sister, Barbara J. McCarthy of Canton, Ill and grandchildren; Logan James and Colton Craig Carr both of Ogden. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Lindy Carr. Mrs. Weber attended Urbana High School, class of 1951. She graduated from Champaign Commercial College in 1952. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Urbana and bowled in Senior Leagues at Western Bowl and Arrowhead Lanes. She loved travel and covered most of the world in her travels.

Arrangements are being handled by Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 5. Funeral services will be at Renner-Wikoff Chapel at 10:00 AM Friday, March 6, 2009. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mayview. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society.
