URBANA, IL- Marilyn I. Mumm, 83, of Urbana, was called to be home with the Lord on Saturday, March 28 at 10:40 AM at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Vineyard Church, 1500 N. Lincoln Ave., Urbana. Pastor Brian Harvey will officiate. Burial following services at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Sidney, IL. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM, Tuesday at the church.

Marilyn was born February 9, 1926 in Ivesdale, IL. She married Ralph R. "Bob" Mumm on March 17, 1945 in Ivesdale. He died on October 1, 1991. Survivors include a son, Mark F. "Fred" Mumm of Sidney, and twin daughters, Susan Sellers of Sidney and Teresa Mumm of Urbana. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Melissa, Angela, Graham, Tyler and a special niece, Ann. She was preceded in death by an infant son, John, one sister, Patricia and one brother, Jack. Surviving siblings include Tom Kirwan, Jim Kirwan and Mike Kirwan.

Marilyn was a homemaker and helped Bob farm for over forty years in the Sidney area. Marilyn enjoyed sewing, she loved being a grandmother, taking care of others and collecting bunnies, teapots, teacups, dolls and butterflies.
