Marie E. Langendorf 82 of Urbana died at 6:23 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; Rev. Seth Jersild officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Langendorf was born on September 11, 1929 in Edwardsville, the daughter of Carl and Mona Emery Dippold; she married Gerald W. Langendorf on October 30, 1947 in Bellville, he died January 13, 2002.

Survivors include her children; Terry (deceased) (Chris) Langendorf Debbie (Jere) Langendorf, David (Barb) Langendorf, Mike (Barb) Langendorf, Rick (Jan) Langendorf, Jeff (Jackie) Langendorf and Denise (Bob) Halberstadt, one sister; Mabel (Gene) Henschen one brother: Karl (Barb) Dippold, seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, one grandson; Mitch and one great granddaughter; Paige.

Mrs. Langendorf graduated from Edwardsville High School.

She loved her family and her card clubs.
