Evelyn Marie Grein, age 91, of Urbana, died 3:54 p.m. Friday, June 27 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.

Arrangements are being handled by Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 1 at the funeral home with graveside services at Roselawn Cemetery at 2:00 PM Tuesday following the visitation. Rev. Michael Smith will officiate.

Mrs. Grein was born April 16, 1917 in Compromise TWP near Gifford, the daughter John Lindsey and Venner Escum (Ray) Tash. She married Jewell Grein on March 16, 1957 in Rockville, Indiana and he survives. She is also survived by her sisters, Frieda Corson of West Point, Indiana and Hilda Dixon of Urbana, a brother, Robert Tash of Florida and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one sister, one brother and sisters-in-law.

Mrs. Grein was a devoted farm wife and was also a clerk at the University Of Illinois. She enjoyed helping her husband in the fields and going to toy shows.
