Margie Reynolds, 84, of Savoy, died at 1:43 a.m., June 3, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Philo. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana.

Margie Mae Reynolds was born December 14, 1926 in Villa Grove, IL a daughter of John W. and Eva Mae Shafer Hill. She married Floyd R. Reynolds in 1949. He preceded her in death.

A son, Brad Reynolds of Savoy; two brothers Gene Hill and George Hill; and a sister, Fae Kiifner-Jackson, survive her.

Her parents, and a brother John A. Hill preceded her in death.

Mrs. Reynolds graduated from St. Joseph High School and then worked as a telephone operator for many years. For the last twelve years she gave out samples at Sam's Club. She enjoyed meeting with a coffee group at the McDonalds on the corner of Neil and Kirby. As a child she enjoyed being a cowgirl in St. Joseph herding cows, and loved her horse Roxy.
