Margaret Ann Bonadurer Strang, 90 of Urbana, died 6:10 am Friday (Feb 18, 2011) peacefully in her sleep at Champaign County Nursing Home.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Urbana. Pastor Bob Rasmus will officiate. A reception will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Philo Rd in Urbana.

Margaret was born Sept 15, 1920 in Hillsboro, IL to Martin and Antoinette Bonadurer. On January 31, 1944 she married Lloyd Robert Strang of Waukegan, IL.

Beloved mother of Phil Strang of Urbana and grandmother of Joseph David Strang and Teresa (Tess) Margaret Strang. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd and her daughter Peggy Ann Strang.

Margaret received her bachelor degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana where she met and married Lloyd. They moved to Flushing, New York in 1948.

She worked for years as a secretary and then office manager of the Health and retirement Fund for the Fur Manufacturers Industry in Manhattan.

Margaret moved back to Urbana in 1998 and lived with her son and grandchildren. She was an avid reader and solver of crossword puzzles and in latter years enjoyed watching "NCIS" and "Law and Order".
