Margaret Marie Prentice 77 of Urbana died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at home.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born on February 9, 1932 in Chicago, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen Wingler Hacker. She married Isaac D. Prentice in May of 1964 in Urbana; he died on October 16, 2005.

Survivors include four sons; Jules DeHaven, Francis DeHaven, Richard DeHaven and Terry DeHaven, two daughters; Sherry DeHaven and Faith DeHaven, two brothers; James Hacker and Birt Hacker, one sister; June Hudson, seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Margaret was a cook for the U of I. and enjoyed slot machines and bingo.
