Margaret K. Harvey 92, of Urbana died at 6:25 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; the Rev. Dr. John Sims will officiate. Burial will be in the G.A.R. cemetery Homer. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harvey was born on March 5, 1918 in Fairmount, the daughter of Everett and Bessie Broaddus Meece. She married Edward Wilson Harvey on August 27, 1943 in New Bedford, Massachusetts; he died on February 4, 1979.

Survivors include one daughter; Sharon McLeod of Urbana, one son; Edward W. (Cynthia Capek) Harvey Jr. of DeKalb, one sister; Ruth Meece Thornton of Urbana, one brother; John Everett (Kay) Meece of St. Petersburg, Florida, three grandchildren; Tim McLeod of Urbana, Edward Harvey III of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Harvey of Chicago and one great grandson; Timothy Wesley McLeod.

She was preceded in death by one son; Donald Timothy Harvey and one sister; Lillian Dickson.

Mrs. Harvey was a member of First United Methodist Church, Urbana.

She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandchild.
