URBANA, IL- Margaret Elizabeth Long Duncan, 95, of Lakewood, Ohio, formerly of Urbana, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Eliza Jennings Home, Lakewood, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Dr. John Sims will officiate. Entombment will be held at Mt. Hope Mausoleum, Champaign, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.

Mrs. Duncan was born August 21, 1912 at Camargo, IL, a daughter of George Frederick and Mary Fout Long. She married John R. "Jack" Duncan on August 13, 1939 at Louisville, KY. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1984. Survivors include a daughter, Marlene Kraatz and husband, Gerry of Medina, Ohio and a son, John R. Duncan, Jr. and wife, Dorlores of Rantoul. Three grandchildren also survive: Arthur, William and Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Geneve Albriecht.

Mrs. Duncan graduated from Camargo High School and attended Illinois State University, Normal, IL. She taught piano, organ and music for over 40 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Urbana, where she was a long-time Sunday School teacher.
