Majel Moore, 83, of Champaign, died at 3:30 a.m. January 19, 2009 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2009 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Entombment will be in Mt. Hope Mausoleum Champaign. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Majel Moore was born May 22, 1925 in Sandy Hook, KY a daughter of Bruce and Ruby Miller. She married Vernon Moore on October 23, 1976 in Champaign. He survives.

Survivors include five children Ivan Conley, Gary Conley, Danny Conley, Linda Davis, and Tim Conley; a brother, Burlin Miller; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Her first husband and a sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Moore was an antique dealer. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, antiques, and traveling.
