Madonna (Alblinger) Dial 89 of Champaign died at 7:29 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at Bridle Brook, Mahomet.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ivesdale. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dial was born January 5, 1922 in Ivesdale, the daughter of Severine and Esther Hubber Alblinger. She married Harold Ross Dial on October 25, 1947 in Champaign; he died on March 3, 2004.

Survivors include three daughters; Linda Warren of Oakwood, Bonnie Elson of Champaign, Onna Jordan of Champaign, one son; Steve Dial of Fayetteville, North Carolina, two brothers; William Alblinger of Daytona, Florida, Frank Alblinger of California, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Five sisters preceded her in death.

She was a WW II veteran and retired from Eisner Grocery store.

She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Champaign.

Memorial contributions may be made to masses or to Carle Hospice.
