Lyle R. Mullvain, 89 of Champaign, formerly of the Fisher area, died at 3:55 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at his home. Memorial services will be 11:00A.M., Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at First Christian Church of Champaign, 3601 S. Staley Rd., C. J.P. Jones will officiate. Burial will be held at Bellflower Cemetery, Bellflower. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mullvain was born Sept. 2, 1921 in rural Foosland, the son of Lloyd and Cora (Sample) Mullvain. He is survived by a son; Darryl L. (Darlene) Mullvain of Champaign, step sons; Roger L. Morfey of Mahomet and Mark A. Morfey of Paradox, Colorado, grandchildren; Evelyn Landry, Debbie Klein, Brenda Wallace, eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and a very dear and close friend Ruth Arrasmith. He is preceded in death by a grandson; Darryl Mullvain, Jr.
