Lucille F. Bosshart of Urbana finished her work here on earth at 8:11 a.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Willowbrook of Savoy when she received an invitation from her personal hero. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will spend time reuniting with family and friends she hasn't seen in a while, quilting, traveling to interesting new places, and shopping to her hearts content with coupons that never expire.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Urbana; Rev. Shawn Boylan will officiate. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Our petite little lady was born Lucille Frieda Wollenschlager on June 23, 1927 in Danvers Township the daughter of George and Frieda Wollenschlager. She married Robert Bosshart on November 28, 1952 in Hampstead, NY, who preceded her in death in 2016. An active Christian, Lucille served as President of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and devoted many years to serving the local community through Faith in Action.

Surviving are her four children; Kathleen Kueker of Maple Park, Robert Bosshart of San Diego, CA, Karen Hennis of Urbana and Amy Bosshart of Savoy, eight grandchildren; David Bosshart, Christina Greene, Sara Kueker, Jacob Kueker, Leah Heltsley, Ruth Christanson, Richard Pilla, Justin Pilla and fourteen great grandchildren.

We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. She will always be with us in our hearts; and in every slice of pie, in every piece of chocolate and at every retail sale event.
