Lowell L. Easter 91, of Urbana died at 1:17 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Harvest Church, Urbana, Rev. Jon Callahan will officiate. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Easter was born on July 8, 1925 in Iroquois, the son of George and Anna Albrecht. He married Anna Marie Van Hoveln on August 17, 1947 in Schwer, she survives.

Also surviving are four children; Patricia Ellis of Denver, North Carolina, Debra (Jon) Callahan of Urbana, Barbara (Jerome) Manos of Watseka, Jeffery (Susan) Easter of Stafford, Virginia, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son-in-law; David Ellis, five brothers and one sister.

Mr. Easter retired from truck driving having worked for Nimz Trucking of Watseka and M & S Trucking of Stickney.

He was a member of Harvest Church, Urbana and Teamsters Union local 705.

Mr. Easter was a coach in the Babe Ruth Baseball League and enjoyed wood working and remodeling.
