Loraine Burtch, 87, of Savoy, died December 27, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Mattis Ave. Free Methodist Church in Champaign. Rev. Herb Coates will officiate. Entombment was in Grandview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana is handling arrangements.

Loraine Burtch was born January 27, 1921 in Iola, IL a daughter of Lute and Leora Owens Cruse. She married Lee F. Burtch on December 25, 1942 in Champaign. He survives.

Survivors include three children Robert L. Burtch of Batavia, IL; Jim Burtch of Savoy, IL; and Diana Burtch of Champaign, IL; a sister Alice Crouch of Urbana, IL; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her brother Buford Cruse.

Mrs. Burtch was a Home Economics Teacher for Edison Junior High and a member of the Mattis Ave. Free Methodist Church in Champaign.
