Lois A. Hiltibran 92, of Urbana died at 6:30 A.M., Friday, October 18, 2013, at Carle Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio.

Mrs. Hiltibran was born Lois Marie Armstrong on April 15, 1921 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Albert Kyle Armstrong and Dena Davis Armstrong. She Married Robert C. Hiltibran on November 22, 1945.

Surviving are daughters, Cheryl Hiltibran of Minneapolis, MN and Karen (Michael) Salmon of Lynnwood, WA; surrogate son Jeff (Carla) Reese of St. Joseph and sons Matt and Josh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Robert C. Hiltibran, son R. Glen Hiltibran, and sister, Edythe Collings.

Mrs. Hiltibran graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield OH.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Urbana. She belonged to Lifetime Fitness at the University of Illinois and was a Lifetime member of the University of Illinois Women's Club.

In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or The Roofing Fund at the First United Methodist Church in Urbana or to an organization of the donor's choice. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
