Lois M. Brownfield 86 of Savoy died at 9:03 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Champaign-Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Stearns Cemetery, Fithian.

Lois was born on October 25, 1926 in Sidney, the daughter of Elmer and Olive Cooper Cox; she married Marion M. Brownfield on April 11, 1946 in Champaign.

Survivors include two daughters; Pamela Harris and Claudia Chaney both of Champaign, one brother; Willard Cox of Ogden, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; Marc Brownfield, one daughter; Sherry Jones, one Brother; Wayne Cox and one sister; Delores Weber.

Lois retired as a secretary at the University of Illinois.
