Lois C. Anderson, 90, of Champaign, died 8:28 a.m., Sunday, February 20, 2011 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Pastor Tony Crouch will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Lois Anderson was born March 22, 1920 in Arcola, IL the daughter of Clyde and Lois Messmore Butler. She married John S. Anderson. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter Sandra L. Manter of Champaign; two grandchildren, Van Jenkins and Beth (Don) Schwarz; and aunt and grandmother to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant sister.

Mrs. Anderson worked as a seamstress for Cap & Gown and was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
