Lisa Joy Patterson, 53, of Urbana, Illinois, passed away at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. A memorial reception will be held Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd.

Lisa was born March 21, 1962 in Elgin, Illinois to parents Robert and Joy (Mantor) Patterson. Her father preceded her in death in 2006. Her mother survives, along with three brothers: Michael Patterson (Candace Reckinger) of Los Angeles, California, Patrick Patterson (Linda) of Urbana, Illinois, and Robert Patterson Jr. (Donna Cox), of Champaign, Illinois. Ms. Patterson is also survived by her beloved nephews: Barney, Jasper, Patrick Jr., Stephen, and John Patterson.

Lisa loved her job as an office Manager at Country Companies Insurance, where she worked for 15 years. During high school, she worked at a pet shop, where she nurtured her lifelong love of animals. She also enjoyed tending garden.
