Linda Susan Johnson-Smith, 60, of Urbana, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, Urbana. A repass luncheon will follow the service at the Elks Lodge, 903 N. Dunlap Ave., in Savoy, at 3:00 P.M.

Linda was born on August 25, 1953 in Amboy, Illinois to parents Raymond and Mabel (Harris) Duncan. They preceded her in death. On May 4, 1983 she married Boyd Smith in Urbana. He survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Candice Johnson of Champaign, step daughters; Sheryl (Rodney) Mammano of Champaign, Leanne Atrosky of Thomasboro and Jami Smith of Urbana, step son Kim Smith of Roberts, Illinois, ten grand children, and two brothers, Terry Duncan of Seattle, Washington and Larry Duncan (Sandy) of Erie, Illinois.

Linda was a graduate of Erie High School, Black Hawk Junior College and the University of Illinois. She was a member of Delta Sigma Omicron. Linda worked as a project manager of the Department of Human Services for over fifteen years.
