Linda Rae Dulaney, 70, of Urbana passed away at 6:52 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel. Rev. Gary Gritton will officiate. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mt. Olive Cemetery following the funeral.

Linda was born on April 1, 1947 in Urbana to parents Elmer Ray and Norma Irene (Grob) Williams. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Sharon Barrett of Santa Rosa, CA, her nephew, Del Barrett of Santa Rosa, CA and her uncles, Delmar Grob, Wayne Grob, Gene Grob, and Warren Grob, all of Urbana.

On April 18, 1969 she married Billy Joe Dulaney in Urbana, he survives. This year Linda and Joe celebrated 48 years of marriage. Also surviving are her daughter, Melissa Dulaney of Urbana, her granddaughter, Makayla Dulaney of Urbana, her brother-in-law, John Barrett of Santa Rosa, CA, two nephews, Frank Barrett of Santa Rosa, CA and Sean Barrett of NV, her best friend, Rose Bermingham of Urbana, and four grand dogs who were always by her side. Also surviving are Linda's dear friends, Pam, Terri, Nancy, Tina, Bubby, and Russell.

Linda attended Urbana High School (class of 1965) and attended Parkland College. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Urbana. She liked collecting antiques, shopping, genealogy and scrap booking. Linda was an advocate for Animal Rescues and spay/neuter clinics. Linda was the most loving, caring, giving wife, mom and grandma. Linda loved her family, her friends and her grand dogs and loved spending time with them. She is going to be missed by all who knew and loved her.
